Sisanda Nkoala is a senior lecturer at the University of South Africa’s Department of Communication Sciences. She is the winner of the 2023 NIHSS Digital Humanities: Best Visualisation or Infographic award, the recipient of the 2023 Western Cape Cultural Affairs Award for Best Researcher Contributing to Archival Heritage and the 2023 HERS-SA Young Women Leader in Higher Education winner for 2023. Dr Blessing Makwambeni is a senior lecturer and postgraduate convenor in the Media Department at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. He also serves as the chair of the Faculty Research Ethics Committee in the Faculty of Informatics and Design. Blessing has published widely in the field of media and communication. Trust Matsilele obtained his DPhil in communication science at the University of Johannesburg. He has also worked as a political and economic journalist for CNBC Africa and Forbes Africa magazine.
