Sopho Gelava teaches fact-checking and verification techniques at the University of Georgia. She is Media Literacy Program Director at the Media Development Foundation (MDF) and editor of MDF’s fact-checking platform Myth Detector. She conducts verification and OSINT training sessions for various audiences. She has an MA in Political Sciences and is an alumnus of the US Department of State's professional exchange program IVLP.
