Ladislaus Ludescher is a lecturer at the Institute of History at the University of Mannheim and is also working on his habilitation at the University of Frankfurt. His research interests include German-American literary and cultural relations and, in particular, domestic and foreign media analysis. Previously he studied German language and literature, history and European art history at the University of Heidelberg and received his doctorate in 2017 with a thesis on the perception of the American Revolution in German literature.
