Mark Eisenegger is a Professor at the Department of Communication and Media Research (IKMZ) and the Director of the fög – Research Center for the Public Sphere and Society at the University of Zurich. Since 2010, fög has been publishing the Yearbook on Media Quality. His research focuses on the digital structural transformation of public spheres, media quality and changes in organizational communication. Dr Daniel Vogler is the Deputy Director of the fög – Research Center for the Public Sphere and Society at the University of Zurich and a Senior Research Associate at the Department of Communication and Media Research (IKMZ). His research focuses on journalism, public relations, online communication and computational social science. Dr Linards Udris is Deputy Director of Research at the fög – Research Center for the Public Sphere and Society at the University of Zurich and Senior Research Associate in the Department of Communication and Media Research (IKMZ) at the University of Zurich. His research focuses on the quality of news, especially during referendum and election campaigns, the concept of the public sphere, and social change. Dr Silke Fürst is a Senior Research and Teaching Associate in the Department of Communication and Media Research (IKMZ) and a Research Associate at the fög – Research Center for the Public Sphere and Society at the University of Zurich. She is co-editor of the open-access journal Studies in Communication Sciences (SComS). Her research focuses on journalism, science communication and higher education studies, datafication, discourses about audiences, media history, media ethics, and open science.
