Carolyne Lunga is a researcher and Visiting Lecturer in the Journalism department at City, University of London, where she teaches humanitarian journalism, international news and global journalism. Her research interests are in media ethics, investigative and humanitarian journalism. She completed her PhD in Journalism at City, University of London on collaborative investigative journalism. And Madhushala Senaratne is a Visiting Lecturer in the Journalism Department at City, University of London, teaching humanitarian reporting. She also works as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Westminster, teaching in media and international development and celebrity culture. She holds a PhD in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of Sussex. Her research interests include media and humanitarianism/international development, storytelling and narrative production, and media ethics.
