Dr. Vinzenz Wyss is a professor of Journalism at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences at Winterthur (ZHAW) and currently president of the Swiss Association of Communication and Media Research (SACM). He specializes in journalism research, journalistic and media quality assurance. He designed training courses for media professionals and created midcareer development programmes for journalists at several journalism schools. He is co-founder and member of several associations in the media sector (e.g Verein Qualität im Journalismus, Medienkritik Schweiz), and is well-connected with the Swiss media industry as well as with the scientific community.
