Ana Pinto Martinho has been working as a journalist for more than a decade. Currently she is the editor of the portuguese EJO website and simulatneously teaches Data Journalism at ISCTE-IUL. She directed the “iGOV” and “ – Public Administration” media outlets and worked with other media such as “Diário de Notícias”, “RTP Informação”, “Sol”, “InformationWeek” and “Semana Informática”. With a degree in Social Communication (UBI) and a Master in Communication Culture and Information Technologies (ISCTE), she is currently working on her PhD in Communication Sciences at ISCTE. Her research interests include connection between big data, data and journalism.
