Dr. Madhushala Senaratne teaches and researches in areas of media, humanitarianism, and international development. She is currently a visiting lecturer at City St. George’s, University of London. In her PhD, completed at the University of Sussex, she examined storytelling practices of inter-governmental organisations working in post-conflict contexts. Before academia, she worked as a journalist in Sri Lanka and with the United Nations Development Programme.
