Nouha Belaid holds a PhD in media and communication. Her thesis was about television on social media in the era of media convergence. In 2017 she was nominated by UNESCO and the European Union as a member of 100 Younger Tunisian Experts. Her 2013 masters thesis, Political Communication and Social Media was awarded the Prize for Scientific Excellence. Nouha is currently the Arab Journalism Observatory’s web editor and teaches at Manouba University. She is also the Arab project coordinator of “Wealth of Nations”, Thomson Reuters Fondation’s programme for investigative journalism.
