Liga Ozolina
Liga Ozolina (Editor, EJO Latvia) is a PhD student in the Communication Management Program at the School of Business Administration Turiba. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science with a specialization in Journalism at the University of Latvia and studied at Riga Stradins University where she received a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Science. During her Master’s studies she gained special interest in network society and Internet studies. Her PhD thesis will analyze online business models and how they relates with audience attitude towards media and content.
Additionally, she has worked as a journalist at one of the largest daily newspapers in Latvia, Diena. Currently, aside from editing the Latvian EJO website, she owns and operates one of the largest women’s Web portals in Latvia, www.SievietesPasaule.lv.
