Alina Vasiliu
Alina Vasiliu received her Bachelor’s degree in Romanian and English language literature and her Master’s degree in philology from Ovidius University in Constanta, Romania. In addition to being a PhD candidate at the University of Bucharest she has also worked as a journalist in regional media since 1995. Vasiliu has worked for several newspapers and two television stations in Romania, first as a reporter, then as department chief, editor-in-chief, deputy editor-in-chief, and as a media manager. In 2009, she began teaching journalism in the Faculty of Communication and Political Sciences at the Andrei Şaguna University of Constanta.
In 2010, Vasiliu became the communication expert in a European collaborative study concerning the development of human resources in education. Vasiliu is also a contributor to Hotnews.ro, a national news portal in Romania.
